Which 303 Top treatment?
I posted in Wash & Wax but got one opinion, so I am asking here.
303 makes two convertible treatments:
1) Fabric Guard for "canvas like" convertible tops, polyester and olefin awnings, etc. They show a Mustang convertible in their brochure.
2) 303 protectant for vinyl.
So which is right for our cars? It is a PVC, but has the texture of canvas - does that make it canvas-like?

I'm pretty sure it would be the 303 aerospace "vinyl" protectant. I read the FAQ about both.
The fabric protectant mentions fabrics like "Sunbrella" which is used on the tent trailer I own. It is truly fabric, not vinyl.
The 303 aerospace protectant mentions, for example, a Jeep top that is vinyl and "embossed" to look like canvas. My Jeep top and s2k top are quite similar.
Here's a link to the FAQ about the Jeep and similar tops.

Hey RR somewhere on this forum someone posted a summary of different convertible tops and the guy said that the top for the S was a very high quality vinyl that looked like canvas . He gave the top a "Very Good" in his opinion . I believe the guy worked for Raggtopp .
