30K service
Hey guys,
I was reading the thread about the 60K below, and I realized my 30K will be due somewhat soon. My questions are: 1) Will someone please remind me what's involved? 2) Should I do the 60K instead since it's 6+ years old? Or at least any additional steps? Anything like that, or just stick with the standard 30K?
It's MY00 with 27K.
Thanks!
Dave

As far as the dealer recommended 30000 mile service: I completely ignore what the dealers recommend. I only follow what the manual recommends.

You would do what is recommended for the AGE or the MILEAGE, whichever is greatest. No owner's manual?

No, I have one, but it's in storage (long story)... I was betting I could get the same info here, without having to drive to PS and rummage through boxes, so I asked!

Oddly enough, the 30K and the 6 year service include all the same things. I would suggest you just change all fluids - engine, rear diff, tranny (not included but not a bad idea anyway), brake & clutch fluid. All the rest are inspections which, I'm sure you could give the whole car the "once over" and change whatever doesn't look right.
