Default 310 Hp

Just wanted to share a few pix of my new daily driver. 2004 VW Touareg

My Suburban was just a bit to large for my daily needs, so I went with the VW.

I have a good rapport with a local dealer who gave me first right of refusal on the first batch that came in. First allotment was for a V6 and a V8. I drove the V6 and was very pleased with the ride and feel of the car but not overly impressed with the power. This past Friday the V8 was dropped off, so I was thee on Sat for my test ride and said I would take it. I took her home on Tues and so far have put only 100 miles on the clock. Deal was sticker but I got more than $2k above Kelley trade in #. I am sure that in a few months there will be deals to be had, but I wasn't interested in waiting.

My first impression of the car is that it is very quiet with a good amount of luxury without being overdone. The V8 is very responsive and smooth and the automatic 6spd seems to shift smoothly and exactly when you want it to.

Just wanted to share

Have a happy and safe holiday weekend.

Looks sharp. How much are those going for if you don't mind.

That is an awesome vehicle.

I am a huge fan of VW products, and the new VW, Audi, and Lamborghini offerings are definitely high class.

Nice choice on your purchase, have fun with it.

Let us know if you ever get to test out its off road abilities. I am sure it is plenty capable.

Nice, I like it.

Definitely nicer than a Cayenne.

I didn't even know those were out already!

My dad is about to buy either one of those or an FX 45...

Do you have any interior pictures?
