Thanks for the comments.

I will take some interior shots tonight and post the tomorrow.

I was never a huge fan of VW until I bought a Passatt 4motion for my wife 2 years ago. That car is awesome. Great ride and very solid. I guess now we are a VW family.
Only problem is trying to convince my wife to keep her car outside so the new VW can sit next to my Honda

I like it. I just wish VW would bring the 12 cylinder version over as well. I am looking forward to the interior pictures as well. The interior pictures that I have seen thus far are very nice. Enjoy and congrats !! My best friend has a passat and he loves it too.

I thought the hotter version was a turbo V10 not a V12?!?

You are right, kind of. It's a diesel.

The most sought after version of the Touareg is the Euro-spec V10 TDI.

The V10 TDI is tested this month in CAR magazine against the new BMW built Range Rover. That is definitely a high class automobile. The TDI engines are really impressive and make some awesome pulling power.

Touareg V10 TDI:

5.0-litre, 313HP, 553LB-FT, 6 speed tiptronic, $50,440

The V10 TDi will be coming next year!!

I will most likely trade the V8 for the TDi. It is supposed to get in the 28-30 mpg range. While I have been told that the TDI will be de-tuned a bit still over 500lb-ft, not to shabby.

For now the V8 is very smooth and has plenty of power.
