Default 350Z impressions.

This is coming from someon who was expecting delivery on his 350Z at the end of September. I decided not to wait and bought an s2k. I am very happy with my decision. Dont get me wrong the 350Z is a great car and an excellent bang for your buck. The handling on the s2k is nothing shy of a 911. Its very amazing.
The 350Z is a very big car, bigger than i thought it would be. The front is a little too round for me and does have a memory of celica in its eyes. It is a japanese audi tt. I am not crazy about it. The side profile is the best part of the car. But i iwll say one thing.9000 rpms is amazing and when that vtec hits.......pure heaven.
The s2k gets the nod....I am not inclined towards the s2k..remember i almost had my 350z...

Good to see someone who wasn't taken in by the Nissan Propaganda. Congrats on the S.

However, this is a S2K site and I think we have beaten the 350Z issue to death, go to the 350Z forum if you guys want to talk about that car so much

Don't think we all feel this way. Welcome to the board!

CompTechS2K--
I completely agree with you and I am happy that I did not wait for the Z to come out prior to buying my S.

I saw one for the first time today and my impression of the Z is that it is a Japanese Vette or maybe Jag, whereas the S2000 is more like a Japanese Lotus. (Also, the back end of the Z looks like a dog looks when it's taking a crap and trying to run at the same time.)

I think it's a nice car...it has a lot of potential with a good driver.

I'm quoting myself agagin here, but who cares.

As I posted in an other thread

That (350Z) looks like a COPY / PASTE of a Porsche 911 (I'm sure it is) with COPY / PASTE Toyota Celica headlights and COPY / PASTE Peugeot's tail lights, probably with some type of COPY / PASTE engine, it is not my style.

P.S. It does not look too bad, but I prefer unique things (Like the S2000)

I have not seen any yet. I went up to the Nissan dealership last week, and the salesman said they had sold 3 already. (Normally I would wonder about this, but I know the guy other than just a car salesman) He is always trying to get me to trade for the 350z, and I keep replying, I am very happy with the S!

Size comparison:

That little thing beside the blue 350Z is apparently an S2000. Can hardly see any of it.

As an owner of a z32, I had high hopes of the new Z, however my visit to the nissan dealership confirmed my love for the s2000!! I couldn't believe how nissan dropped the ball with this car imo. I was not happy with the look of the car at all!!
