350z v s2000 v 911
I have been test driving these 3 cars with a view to buying one. Here are my brief opinions and first impressions-
Porsche 911 - unimpressed, feels too cultivated, best looking, very expensive and necessary options unless you like plastic seats. I really wanted to like this car but I didn't
350Z- Feels powerful, great every day driver, better interior build quality compared to s2000. I dont like exterior. Muscular, well balanced, solid car, nice engine growl.
s2000-cheap feeling interior, cool roadster look( a little bit too miata like though), weak at low revs
Final choice- S2000. Why? It is by far the most fun of these cars. The ragtop only adds to this. I have never had such a rush in a car as when the vtec kicks in on the S2000.I am only using this car as a sunday driver otherwise as a daily driver I pick the 350z.
I may however wait for the 350z convertible before purchase.

cshama I was s2k vs. 308 vs. 911 (993 series)
911- I found it to be an excellent performer in all aspects. $ was an issue for me as it would be over 10k more than s. 1 year dealer warranty.
308- dream car for me - maint. costs and reliability scared me.No warranty.
s2k - braking and handling were great, acceleration with v-tec was something diffrent from other cars I have driven I liked it! Fun to drive factor was a-1 something you can't measure in numbers. Also full fledge conv. Also 3 year warranty.
