Default 36k for a '01 !

I just received the latest Autoweek magazine. I was surprised to see this listed for sale . . .

" '01 Honda S2000 - Like New, Every Opt, Yellow / Black, 877 Mi, Climate Controlled storage, 36K, No Disappointment. . . "

Sounds like a Louisiana location (area code 318).

Here's someone's chance for a buy of a lifetime !!!!!

Maybe in 10 or 15 years. Not yet collector status.

I agree. Wait until all the ap1 s are destroyed by 16 year olds and it will shoot up in value

$36k asking is not that bad.... maybe take it for $32k.. it really is a brand new car, think about how many of these examples there are left. id hold out for 32k or keep it.

It might seem crazy. But IMO, the owner would be crazy NOT asking 36K at first.

You may have to take into account how many years this car has been sitting. It's an 01' w/ 877 miles! (Hopefully it was garaged properly). Assuming it wasn't serviced routinely, the maintenance cost will be high.

New tires (if original)
All fluids replaced
May have to replace rubber hoses
Suspension components (bushings)
Fuel - Hopefully the owner added fuel sta-bil before storage. Broken down fuel will be a headache and you may need a new fuel tank.

On the other hand, if everything has been taken care of and the car is good to go, $32k would be fair.

Any members in 318 area code?

Someone should check it out just for curiousity.
