Agreed. Won't be a classic in a while...Miata NA is slowly becoming one though with its flipped headlights.
Sounds a bit strange though, 12 year old car but less than 1000 miles. Don't know the history of this car...that's the problem. There's no service record so it could have crashed and fixed many years later which could explain the low mileage...I'd take one with maintenance record even though that means a little higher mileage.

You could probably get an AP1 with 30k miles for about half this price. Even if your're bad at math, it's not hard to understand the depreciation curve on the "like new" car isn't working in your favor.
I'd pass on this in a heartbeat and find a more lightly used model for far less money.

I would buy this instead. Newer, and its been driven a bit (3700km about 2300miles) plus it has a hardtop
