Default 3700 miles...OEM S02'2 are toast

I started noticing on our last drive the ass-end felt a little loose. I took a look at my rears-- yup.. I'm about 1'8" from the wear bars. (Mind you only spirited "well, very spirited" driving, never burn outs, etc..)

Looks like I need a set of rears... any suggestions on a great price near Austin, TX for the OEMs? I don't want S03s or PPs of any kind...

Way to go man! Good driving. Tirerack. They will be at your door in 2-3 days. No one in town stocks them.

Since your tires are *18 months* old, think any of that is dry rot related?

Get that car out and drive it, you weenie!

I drive my car with "extreme spirit" as well and have 7500 miles on the tires with about 3000 miles of wear left. No hard launches, but 2 nice burnouts. I think it has something to do with the age of the tires...I use mine as a daily driver and just purchased in April 2001.

There are extra OEM S-02's available from our last group buy. You might want to contact Skitz (has tires-sold car). A few remain at NTB-Irving, TX. if you are up this way on occasion.

1'8"? If I had over a foot of tread left I don't think that I would be worried about it yet. If I misread the equation then please feel free to start flame....

I have 9,100 on mine looks like there could be another 9 in them. No burn outs but a lot of hard cornering, which has been going on everyday since April 15. I compared them with new one at our dealer today. There not as bad as I thought but going fairly fast for sure.
