Default 3D - s2k : Need HELP! *Important!*

Hello S2K Owner!

I work on a s2k 3D model since a couple of weeks. weeks...coz I want the car very very exact.

So, that's the reason for this thread.

I need HELP

I already have very much pics, but alot are lowres and bad...And even with this pics it is very hard for me

May some ppl can help me, with detail images and may with some measure data (inch or metric)?

I know the overall size, wheelbase, and that the german version has 108 mm free space under the car

But first let me show a preview pic.

I think the rear window of the hardtop is to big... But I'm not sure.
A friend told me that the dent, near the hood is to wide!?

But what do U S2K Owner think?

Let me know if some body is here to help me!

Regards, Daniel Bohn.
Cya.

Why not just go out and buy one of the Maisto models for $10? They're pretty accurate.

It looks like the models you currently have are quite detailed already, so what other data could you possibly need? The data you're using looks like it came either from a cleaned up 3D scan of a model or the full car. If you entered this data yourself, as claimed, isn't the model or car you're currently working off of good enough?

I thought about that option! Tamiya sell a 1:24 S2k Model. But I've seen the car on the net, they look okay, but I don't thrust them! I'm pretty sure some parts are wrong.

The Tamiya, looks good after fine-tunnig the car

The Maisto Version, head and taillights look strange!?

And one from AutoArt looks nice, but the price...hehe 60

@MacGyver:

I got the Data from Hondas Website, so I think they have to be correct?!

Before somebody go out and make measures, I would think about WHAT I realy need and mark them on a BluePrint I have.
But on the other side I also think it's maybe to much work...I mean to measure some parts :-
The S2k has some tricky parts

But it would help me if U can tell me if something on my Model looks wrong!

Thnx!

Cya.

It looks like the windshield tape area might be a little thin.
It measures approx. two inches on the sides close
to the hood and tapers to one and a half inches where it
starts curving across the top where it is one and a quarter inch.
Then there is the rubber on either side of the tape which adds
a quarter inch on each side of the tape area - approximately.
Hope this helps.

By the way... good job!
