I picked up some products yesterday that seem to work pretty well. I got the Shin-Etsu silicone grease for the seals and the 3M products for the rear window. Tried out the 3M cleaner this am and it seems to work pretty well. Followed it up with Plexus to polish even though I also got the 3M polish. The window looks much better, but it's still a pain to clean/polish the inside. Also, be wary when you order or ask for the 3M stuff. They tried to sell me the 3M cloths which I'm sure are great, but three small towels will set you back almost $40. You can get practically the same thing at Pep Boys for a lot less. The only thing I didn't like was the 3M stuff is a cream and will stain the roof if you're not careful, while Plexus and Meguiar's is clear.

I've been using the 3M for the 13 months that I have had the car, and I couldn't be happier. I use the yellow 100% cotton flannel cloths that KMart and Walmart sell in the automotive department... 3 for $5! My rear window is crystal clear!

Costco also carries the 3M towels for around $5.00, a red, yellow , and blue one in the package.

The cloths at the dealer ship were all yellow and too precious for my blood; I thought they were probably cheaper elsewhere. Thanks.

I really don't like 3M because of the aforementioned staining problem.
I am not too happy with the cleaning power either, I am going to try Plexus.
Does anyone know how to get that stain off?

Try a little Simple Green and a toothbrush. It seems to work pretty well for cleaning just about anything off the roof.
