Cleaning plastic back window?
I have heard mention of the Meguire's cleaner and polish and also Plexus. Should I get all three of these or is it either the two Meguire's products or the Plexus?
Thanks,
Jerry

nothing wrong with all 3, but
imo, plexus should do it - if you have problems that plexus isnt handling, then i would go to a polish.
i like to keep things as simple as possible (and i have several cabinets full of detail stuff doing this!!)

I've used a product called Hindsight
http://www.hindsight.uk.com/
They will ship to the US, but might work out quite expensive with the exchange rate at the moment.
The product itself is amazing - my plastic screen is like brand new now (it was cloudy and scratched).

Here is the process I have used for cleaning the plastic window. I have used this same process for about 15 years on plastic boat window which are the same as the s2000 window.
1) If the window is fogged/cloudy or has small scratched, I apply "Meguiars Mirror Glaze 17 Clear Plastic Cleaner". This does not go easy, its tough stuff but works great. Make sure its warm outside or it will even tougher to remove. Use 2 towels, 1 for putting it on and 1 for taking it off.
2) repeat step 1 with "Meguiars Mirror Glaze 10 Clear Plastic Polish".
3) Finally apply Plexas or 210 plastic clener/polish to give it a nice shine.
This process is a pain, but works great. I usually do steps 1 and 2 twice a year and step 3 about 1 every 2 months. If you get behind and the window fogs, this will bring it back to life.
One last note, when I got my boat, you could not see through the plastic windows at all. I did steps 1 and 2 about 10 times over a 1 month period of time and each time the plastic window became clearer and clearer. The windows lasted about 7 more years and save be about 1000 dollars.

Here's another place to order Meguiars products.
http://store.yahoo.com/classic-motoring/meg1708.html
And an above post mentioned Plexus and this site.
http://store.yahoo.com/classic-motoring/plexus.html
Also use a quality microfiber towel to prevent additional scratches.
