So at what point does the lower gearing start to effect high speed pull compared to stock gears.

if you START the race from 105+ mph, the two cars will be about even til top speed is reached.

if you START the race BELOW that mark, the geared car will pull all the way to the top speed, including speeds above 105mph. in other words, once the geared car starts to pull it's going to continue to pull the whole way.

to put it simply, the geared car is gonna be faster, period. even at freeway speeds. at NO POINT will the geared car EVER be SLOWER than the stock car.

4.56 and 4.57 are the same thing..except 4.56 is upped to 4.57 so help eliminate the whine...I wouldn't suggest getting gears with a turbo setup...because ..for example the lovefab kit...around 375whp...you are gonna have some traction issues already as is and getting gears is just going to make it worse

the same rules apply. if both cars have a turbo, the car with the gears will be faster.

but traction issues can be fixed with stickier tires. there are S2000's that make over 800whp and use slicks or even drag radials. sideways drives his on the street with 500whp without too great of an issue.

gears would be a great addition to any FI setup, much less an n/a setup.
