Default 4.57 final drive installation quote

I called one of the best auto place around my area and I got quoted for $675 for my 4.57 final drive installation.



How much was your installation?

You should consult HTG or Ricks to install your gears. They will build your diff for you and send you the built pumpkin. You just need to pay someone to install the pumpkin. The hard part is the gear installation and it is important to get someone qualified to do this for you. HTG or Ricks can do that part.

Is the price with the parts and installation or just installation, im also wondering how much it will take to get the gear completly done.

are you guys comparing apples to apples?

are the prices you are quoted for putting the R+P in the diff + install, or for a only the new diff installed into the car?

My price was for the r/p install plus installing and uninstalling the diff. Add $110 for parts to that plus $410 for 4.44 gears and $65 for a yellow jacket. So around $835 installed on my car.

With an install kit from Rick,+R/P,+yellow box,my mechanic,quoted me a 4 hours job,at $60.00 an hour=+/-$240.00,Cdn.
