4.57 final drive installation quote
We charge 250 to install the gears into a diff. You would still need to have someone swap out the diffs. I think I paid a dealer 200 to swap it for me once, and 500 to another shop to set the gears and install the diff. So I think 675 is alittle high.
Anyone that has a set of hand tools, a jack and jack stands, can swap a diff. I did it in 4 hours the first time, and 2 the second. (If you are kepping track, that is 4 times I have swapped it. And I have done it far more then that now) On a lift, you can swap the diffs in about 1 hour if you have everything handy and know the exact order to do it in (this is the last swap I did, boy never thought I would be good at this.)
