Don't close it yet...I find it funny that everything is based on car lengths. If you're travelling 100+ mph, then you're not too equipped to "measure" how many car lengths are between you and the winner (notice you are not the winner). Please just get your gears, race Wisconsin's "friend's" M3 and lose........

...THEN close the thread!

your not going to belive this...

i read this thread, and thought hmm, is the 3-4 cars bs true? it just so happen my neighbor has and alpine white 04(m3). i said "hey would you do me and favor and smoke me just for shits and giggles." he laughed. i told him about this forum and he laughed. so we go out to a local road and line up. now....i ran 13.97@100.8 in my stock s. 13.96 with my exhaust. so i can drive pretty decent.

we take off, through first he's pulling, second hes pulling, third hes pulling. we go to about 110. I LOST BY 7-8 CARS. explain that. and his car is stock. E46 M3 are MUCH FASTER THAN EVEN LIGHTLY MODDED S2000.

you can post all the video you want.

unless it's at a track where you run a 13.8 and an M3 runs a 13.1 it won't matter.

you can show us a video on the street, however, since there is no timing, we have no way of knowing that the M3 you are racing is running 13 flat or 13.5. even a 13 flat driver on the street may not necessarily run that.

and so what if you've beaten 6 or 7 other S2000's? great so you are a better driver than they are. that doesn't change the fact that you're gonna run 13.7-13.9 at best, while an M3 can run 13.0-13.1 at best. which equates to a good 7 cars at least.

I live in Glendale CA and im down for the race, and its funny how when it comes down to it no one is a good driver. U keep saying 8-9 cars, while my races have been 3-4 with a lot of m3's. So out of 1 or 2 m3's u talking for the whole bmw world. its just like the Sea level argument. People say i ran this, but if it was sea level id be running this time. Well u gota get this threw your head. U dont live near the sea so your time is your time. just like the m3. 3-4 cars is 3-4 cars. Doesnt matter driver or not, and im sure he is a gooooooooood driver from what everyone told me. Keep a look out for the video, besides who doesnt like to watch s2k's in action.
