4.77 or 4.44
I have 4.77s. If it were an option, I'd go with something even shorter - but not if I had a nice track around. Even 4.77's are a bit painful on the track because you find yourself stuck mid-turn without the ability to shift. I've been passed on the outside during turns because I'd upset the balance and spin out if I shifted.
If your car is a DD or used generally around town, I'd recommend as high as you can go! If you do a lot of track days or highway driving, stick with stock or 4.44's.

I been stuck on this subject too for awhile and done extensive research. I wanted to do 4.77 because of the acceleration power but the bad that i didnt want is the lost of 1st gear. I dont know how fast the rpms rise on first gear though. 4.44 would get me a little more use of my gears but idk if has the same acceleration power.

4.77's will definitely feel much more fun. Great for city driving as well!! On the highway they don't make the car feel faster seems like you have to shift too quickly but from a stop they are much better!
Well you get off the line quicker, makes the car feel faster. Zip through the gears quickly making it feel kinda like a motorcycle or something. Makes the car feel as if it has about 30 ft lbs more torque down low. So easy to get going nicely from a red light with the 4.77's as opposed to stock. Haven't used 4.44's but not a huge jump from stock so don't see how it can be a big difference.
For NA I would go 4.77's. I ditched mine but only because I supercharged mine.
