I'm the only one wanting to know how much you had to pay? Sorry, but I need to ask!
Unlike most replies on here when someone asks about "Is it worth it" I think our cars are under priced and giving top dollar for a nice S is not a mistake.
If you must know, go to Autotrader.com and search for 2002 S2000's within a 25 mile radius of Zip 44820 and you will find the answer. It's the only Spa Yellow '02 listed. I paid the asking price and did so for 4 reasons:
1) The car is immaculate, very well maintained and has brand new OEM Bridgesone S02's.
2) I felt the price was more than fair considering the low miles (14,500). The only 2002's I found at this price were 35,000-60,000 mile cars.
3) When I sold my '06 I asked a "fair" price and Buckeye3d bought it for what I was asking. He never once asked me if I would go lower. He knew my asking price was more than fair compared to a dealer and so is the price of this 2002.
4) There were 4 people waiting to buy it if I didn't. The #2 guy on the owner's list was from Pennsylvania and was willing to buy it sight unseen and had a car hauler lined up to come and pick it up.

I agree that our cars may be underpriced for what you are getting for your money. The average Joe just doesn't realize how great a car this is. I guess that is why I keep coming back. Other cars, in the end, are "just another car". There is something very unique about the experience of owning and driving an S2000. It becomes a part of you if you are a true sportscar enthusiast and not just a guy that owns a sportscar.

Wow, I got a little philisophical there for a moment. 'Nuff said..........

Actually I went from an AP1 ('03) to (2) AP2's ('04 & '06) and back to an AP1 ('02).

An AP1 is better than Viagra to get you revved up (9k rules!!).
