I've got 36 mpg before but I would not believed it. Highway driving within speed limit.

Awesome. I get right at 30 MPG highway, but that's with top up. I do need to add some air in my tires, maybe that will help. Anways, congrats! Good to know it can be done.
Drive 55 instead of 70 and you'll see better mpg.

I need to work on my driving, I am getting about 22mpg, with the price well over 4.50, I need to change my habbits or buy a scooter.

Are you down shifting before comming to a stop and are you trying to minimize time you spend stoped or idling?

11.511 gallons of fuel at fill up = 35.10 mpg.
I normally do not engine brake to slow down.
I did start to slow down way before lights to hopefully avoid having to stop.
