5000 miles now, time for an oil change?

Should I do my oil change now? Switch to synthetic? Thanks.

Jason, I would've changed mine 2000 miles ago, but that's just me.

I've heard stories about how synthetics are supposed to spread out the time between oil
changes, but for some reason, and this is only my humble opinion, I feel better knowing
I've changed my oil every 3000 miles, especially with our engine. I'm gonna use Castrol GTX 10W-30.
