Congrats! Why so many check engine lights?
The two occurences of a "check engine light" were most likely caused by a loose gas cap.

Where I live there are no self-service gas stations. Occassionally the attendant will not tighten the gas cap sufficiently. Since I started watching them more closely, I have not had this problem.

Just wondering about the 60k and 75k Mile Service. Why so expensive compared to the other Mile Services??? What did they have to do to your car?

that's actually a very low cost of maintenance for 8 years. Try a BMW for 8 years and see if the expenses are anywhere near that

Yes I know its a very low cost for maintenance but I wasnt comparing it to other brand cars like BMW. I was comparing the Mile Services Cost of the Same car as I noticed some are more costly than the other services. My parents have owned a BMW and a Mercedez before and sh!tz expensive to maintain. lol

This is exactly why I'm moving on from the Prelude to an S2k, I just passed my 9 year anniversary with my Prelude and 173k miles and it still runs great. People can say what they want about Honda but there's no doubt that they know how to make a car that lasts.

Looks like we came from the same car. My first car was a '01 Honda Prelude. I loved that car so much and I still miss it. But unfortunately, I wanted the S2000 more than I wanted to keep my Prelude so ended up trading it in for the S. Ive driven all kinds of Honda/Acura and the Roaring VTEC of the H22 from my opinion is better than most. I felt more kick in VTEC on my H22 and definitely louder than my F22. lol. If it were RWD, I woulda kept it.
