Almost 166k before mine started slipping with fast shifts under power. Replacing it this month. My car sees lots of autox, occasional track, street miles, twisties, and road trips.

A good driver can see 200k out of a clutch. Maybe people aren't used to manuals that's why they are surprised.

Yep, the OEM clutch is very good. 90k on mine with zero problems and that's with having removed the CDV from the slave at ~70k. If you drive correctly and not beat the piss out of them they last forever (not literally).

I've only got 65K on mine, but it has seen 12 years of heavy autocross use. I'll be disappointed if I don't get 100K out of it.

mine is original, since 10/2003 and 75,000 miles. I usually get allot of miles from a clutch.

My 06 Black Mamba is at 130K and still good. Had an 1992 Accord and replaced the clutch at 169K so I still have a ways to go with the S. When I do replace the clutch in the 06 going to get the lighter flywheel and go that route.

Had about 105k miles on the clutch before I had to replace. I was the third owner and knowing my driving habit and style, it would have lasted longer if I was the original buyer. Great parts from Honda!

So yeah OP, basically it seems your far to eager to do a clutch job on this car. Believe me, after you do one you wont be so thrilled about doing another. See if you can return your clutch, unless you dont mind sitting on it for another possible 100k/10 years.

I just hit 100k on mine, I think it was the orginal clutch too.
I got her when she had 87k on the motor .
I had no problems at all, just some notchy shifts when the tranny is cold.
After it warms up, the car pulls fine through every gear
