if you are with Stock ECU and not FI then you should use 91 or the next higher.....

For example, Sunoco here in Ontario has 87, 89, 92, 94...

I use 92....94 octaine will have no benifit, just a lighter wallet...

I use 98 octane as standard on my stock car. It's only a few cents per litre more than than the regular unleaded.

87 octane?? wow I think our minimum here is about 92.

yeah we get 87, 89, 91 and 93 here. 94 only at sunoco.

Octane ratings in the US are different than the ones used in most other parts of the world. You can't compare them directly to the ratings used elsewhere.
