Similar story here...I found my 08 with ~1,600 miles and new car smell for 21k in 2012 before prices started going up. Now have 73k on it :-)
Make sure you enjoy it to the fullest!

I’ll average around 1500 miles annually. I’ll take it out weekends and I’m sure the wife and I will get in a few day trips here and there. The car isn’t as comfortable as I remembered it to be. The fact that I weighed 180 lbs when I owned my AP1 and I’m now 220 has something to do with it.

I remember seeing that car at the stl dealer! If you got it for 24 OTD, that’s a hell of a deal!
I would have bought it if I didn’t already buy one a couple months before!
I paid about 5 less (19k OTD) but had 46k on it

I actually saw that post on s2ki when the member posted it. I remember thinking how nice the car was. I’ll be the first to tell you that I got extremly lucky to find this car. They were asking $26k and I was able to get them down a little. While it’s not a 100 mile AP1 that you’ll see on BaT, it is the best example of an all original AP2 that I’ve seen locally. The car came with an OEM dust cover, two sets of OEM floor mats, one set is still in plastic. The previous owner also had a 3M clear bra on the front bumper, headlights, hood, side mirrors, door sills and door edge. The car has zero dents, dings or swirl marks. It even smells new. I wonder if he was a member here.
