The Meister does Northern France
Overall route was something like this, 1792 miles all in.
Le Tunnel:
Some arty sculpture things:
Me in Auray:
An attempt at an arty cornfield shot:
No prizes for guessing what this is:
Anyone remember the TV show "Bread"?
The beach at Quiberon:
A bridge at Bono:
Watching kite surfing on the Quiberon Peninsula:
Another bridge, this time on the way into Brest:
Arty S shot at a public gardens type place in Brest:
A DUCK!
Chem and myself in Brest:
Came across some of the Le Mans traffic on the way back to Calais:
Where are the French cars on this French road anyway?

It was fab, apart from the complete trauma of the local plod in Caen towing (lifting fortunately) the car away overnight on Saturday night!
There were signs up around that the square in the centre has a market on Sunday mornings so we parked further up only to find we hadn't parked far enough out (despite checking the rubbish signs twice!!). Come Sunday morning there was a market where we'd left the car.
Two taxi rides, a couple of hours of complete sillyness and

Don't go to Caen
We used to go there by ferry when I was at school - 6 bleedin' hours from Southampton

There were signs up in the square that it was a tow away area for the market but it wasn't clear it went so far up out of the square. Phoned the number on the back of the parking ticket (yes, this was removed from a pay on foot car park!) and they told us the local police clear the area for the market, so off we went to see the Gendarmes.
