There is an '08 out now, and no indication that it'll be the last except that people are speculating.

I understand 2008 will be the last year for the current gen S2K(heard from a friend who works at Honda corporate). Makes since with the CR version coming out. I bet they stop it for a year or so then release a whole new version.

I hope they don't become like Toyota discontinue their sports car line up without having a new one to take over it's place.

Just look at Honda's sales charts and historical sales charts for when they finally nix a car. It's gradually declined, as usual, but they'll probably make it until it stops selling, as they do with most cars. And it's still selling fine in '08, thats for sure.

How is that "for sure"? There is an '06 sitting at the Honda dealership in town that has been there since fall 2005.

I saw a bunch of 2007 S2000s at my local Honda dealer when I went pick up my oil filter.
