Aaaarrrrrggg! Silvia got "doored!"
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! Some SOB must have "doored" my beautiful S2K!
There's now a two-inch, vertical dent near the front edge of the passenger door, with a nice scratch running right down the middle of it. Hopefully, it's not a true scratch and is just paint from the door of the responsible party. Didn't notice it until I was going to cover it tonight, so I don't really know when it happened.
Sounds like a job for a dent popping business. Does anyone have experience with this and does it really work? If so, I'll look one up in the phone book.
I hope there's a special level of hell for anyone who would do this. Maybe not fire and brimstone, but certainly getting poked in the back of the head with a sharp stick for all eternity!

Paintless dent removers do great work if the paint has not been violated. They will drill a small hole in the jamb of your door which they cover with a plastic plug. Some cars have an access panel for just this purpose so you don't need to drill.
I went to Dent Wizard on the southside (on Midlothian tpk) to get one taken out of my last car. Didn't need an appointment, and they did it during my lunch hour. It was about $100, but less than $.25 (quarter) sized dent. I know I've seen a truck with their name on it so they might havea mobile service. I was very impressed with the service - you could not spot it at all.
A couple of things to note from what they told me - if the paint is cracked, they can't do it. Also, the closer it is to the edges (where metal butts into it from the backside), the harder it will be for them to do it since they need to get to the dent from behind.
Sorry to hear about the mishap. I just cant get over how disrespectful people are of others people's property

I also used a Dent Wizard in Virginia - they came to my school (I teach) during my lunchhour and fixed it in about 15 minutes...
It cost $100 - no drilling. You can't see there was ever a dent - it is perfect!
Again, if there is any damage to the paint or clearcoat you won't get the same results.
