Default aahhaha! Got mine today!

This has been the most exciting day of my life so far, finally got to drive home in my S2k! 9k is like no other, VTEC hits in so strong, it throws me into my seat, this is what I have been wanting. Got an '02, black with black leather, and paid $31,800 for it. I dont know what I am doing on the internet, I need to be out driving!

Former probably means the manual says this or that about going over 6000 rpms before 600 miles...

I vtec'd on day one. The fleet manager told me that the car came broken in...no problems and I was only down a bit of oil at 4400 miles. 7000 miles now and still perfect oil level. Almost all highway miles.

yeah, although it MAY be used...'02 used for 31G? dayum, my guess is that it's not used. Although going over 6000 rpm during the break in period shouldn't hurt too much, I wouldn't go around doin it all the time...all cars need to be broke in if I'm not mistaken...no matter what the dealership says to you. Not to mention the manual says to break it in...so...Better safe than sorry right?

Enjoy the new ride...congrats

I would trust the owner's manual a lot more than any employee of a Honda dealership. Take it easy the first 600 miles.

Gads, I'm jealous! My '03 doesn't come in for another month! Was supposed to be here by mid-November at very latest! Dang dock workers!
