Default About to purchase a beautiful s2k but...

Im about to buy a great s2000. It's in immaculate shape and an amazing buy but the only thing that is holding me back is my mom thinking that maintenance is gonna be rough. Is it true that s2000 maintenance isn't too far off of any 4 cyclinder honda besides a few exceptions. Is this really the deal?

Also, shes going to put the insurance under her name so that its cheaper since im 21 male and tryin to get a sports car. Im wonderin How much are you guys paying a month or every 6 months?! Shes 40 and with state farm, thanks for the help it'll decide whether or not i can get this awesome car!

Just triple check the policy so you know that you will definitely be covered. Some policies will cover the younger driver if they drive a car less than x times a year or similar.

Usually you have to tell the insurance company that a young person will be driving the car or they simply won't honor the coverage in an accident.

when i first got insurance, it was like $250 a month, but i had a bunch of bad stuff on my record, now its like $70-$80

i think its cheaper to insure a corvette because people who buy those aren't 21 yr old males....lol...

my S costs less to insure than my RSX did... I pay 145 a month... full coverage with 500 decductible... 21 with one accident that was my fault that bumped up my rates and one that wasnt that had no effect
