About to purchase S2000
Its a model year 2000 in silver with the OEM hardtop, front lip spoiler, and rear decklid spoiler and the kicker is its in brand new condition interior and exterior with 7800 miles. Is it worth buying for $18,000?
you getting this from a private owner or from a dealership?
because, whoever is selling this hardly ever drove the thing!
and buying a car that just sat around in a garage for a long time, is just as bad buying a car that has alot of miles on it,

How is a hardly driven vehicle just as bad as a high milage vehicle?
Anyway, its been started up and driven at least once a week and Garage kept with a OEM car cover.
I guess you can say its from a private owner, but on the other hand you can say its from the car dealership also, or you can say its from the private owner of a car dealership as well.

This can be very true; we're talking little more than 1k miles a year... If that was consistent driving then I think it would be alright, however it would be interesting to know if that was all in one year, or not.... if its been sitting in a garage and/or lot for a long time not doing anything, then thats typically very bad for the mechanicals.
^ just like i said, it is bad for the mechanicals
it seems kinda shady... why would the owner buy a S2000 just to keep it in the garage and just take it out once a week...
even a weeken car would have alot more miles on it than that.
i'm not telling you not to get it, i'm just saying becareful,
go take it to a mechanic and see if it is in a good condition

Ohh theres nothing shady about it. Hes a millionare with several dealership franchises to his name, Honda being one of them. And he owns many high end cars.
I know its in perfect condition, afterall i put on the last 100 miles of the vehicles 7800 miles test driving it.

I don't get it. If he has several dealerships, why doesn't he put it on the lot? (or is that where you found it?). With the OEM hardtop, I'd assume he could get more than $18k for it.
Good price, though, if you can pick it up for that much.
