already, the engine revs higher than most, puts out more than most, etc.

is body werks gonna test the car, or just show it?

 

the SC is only putting out 3-4 psi... and the NSX has just as high of a compression ratio as are car does it not?

there are I believe 150 Comptech SC'd NSX's out there.

 

The NSX CR is 10.2:1. Reliabilty of the blown S2000 will be interesting to observe.

 

any idea... what the boost is on the NSX SC?

 

Whats are our cars 11:1 ? There was a thread around here about this( maybe on H-A.net ) and the first thing the tuners did was lower the comp-ratio with different pistons. I would assume they know what they're doing and dropped the compression to increase reliablility. Leads me to believe that just installing the SC would not be the "safe" way to do it.

 

The Body Werks S2000 (Larry's car) is both a show car AND a drag strip car. He drives the hell out of that thing and he should! So, it's not going to be a garage queen or stictly a show car. Larry's goal all along has been to have the fastest S2000 on the planet. So far, at least among the S2000's that I know of, he has achieved that goal.

Now his s/c should be here in a week or so. I will hang out with them while they put it on and take pics and stuff, as well.

Should be interesting...!

 

I am sorry, he may have the fastest S2000 in your state but certainly not going to happen if you bring in the whole planet.
There seem to be handful of Turbo charged S2000 around. Japan's Top Fuel car achieved 450hp while ago.
If he wants the fastest S2000 period, I am afraid SC won't cut it.
But then again he was nice NOS set-up to go with nice SC....

I have a rocket booster for sale. It runs on ahemm , rocket fuel if he is interested.

 

All we can do is sit back and wait. See how Larry's s2k is going to perform. I hope it's a good result. I want one tooooo.
