Red face About to Swap Out My Interior

Posted this in the local forum and figured it wouldn't hurt to post it here as well:

I've finally been able to gather up all the interior pieces I need to convert my whole tan interior into black and need some assistance. It appears as though I'm going to need some black clips to mount the carpet in place and am not sure how many clips I would need to obtain from the dealer. Price quoted for each clip was $1.75

I've yet to mess with my interior and am not quite sure what's the difficulity level in making the interior swap without having to worry about breaking anything in the process. Perhaps someone who has done the swap would like to do it for a fee?

BTW: I'm located in So. Cal

Thanks!

This will definitely help...

Panel Popper

Interior swap cane be done with medium+ mechanical skills...although always nice to have expert help on hand...

if your careful - as we were - you can do this without breaking a clip... touchy area is under the radio when swapping console cover (needs to be cut or pull dash...cutting is the way to go)...and under the console my cover needed a small cut - you'll see when you get there...unbolting the pedals...unbolting seatbelts...pulling panels....pulling seats... and door panels... all pretty inuitive but always better to have someone whose been down the path...

good luck!

I can't tell from that diagram how clips I would need to order. Looks like I would need from anywhere between 26-30 clips? Any ideas?

Okay, looks like I'm still missing two pieces to complete the swap. I'm not sure what the part is called, but it's a small vinyl piece that attaches to the console wrap that goes behind the seat on each side. Any one knows the name of the piece or better yet the part number?

Here's a couple of pics of the part I need. Anyone know if I can obtain this part from the dealer? Anyone have a pair for sale? [I need them in black]

i had the same issue. honda couldn't get the part so i took my to tan pieces and had a local shop wrap them red for $25/pair. thats probably your best bet. the color might not match exactly but you'll never really even see them
