acceptable colors for hardtop?
Any opinions?
I NEED to get an OEM top or I will have to part with
my S.
Of course...best case scenario would be a used rio yellow
but they haven't showed up and might never.
There are some...white...silver...and both would be great
in dealing with the heat(black would look awesome but would
be the hottest!)
Maybe I'll purchase....and if the look is unacceptable I can always
repaint..but then cost becomes an issue!
Any of those, IMHO.
One thing I considered for my Miata before I decided I was getting too many top-down days even in winter to consider a HT, was to get a used one and take it to one of those places that puts those dreadful mock-convertible treatments on Cadillacs and Buicks, and see if they could make the HT look like a soft-top in the up position. Cover it in vinyl, add fake bows, etc. You could take any color HT, even one in rough shape as far a paint goes.

I'm thinking about wrapping my HT...to protect the clear coat before it goes off.
