You still never answered why you MUST have a hardtop otherwise your car will be sold?

Why do you need fancy spark plugs? OEM are just fine, or a step colder iridium NGK/Denso are perfectly acceptable. Actually, wtf is a fancy spark plug? I'm almost wondering if you're referring to Okada coils, since that's the only thing in the 'spark' genre that is fancy to my knowledge.

Just because we drive a honda, and you drive a honda doesn't mean you can call another s2k owner a ricer. What kind of logic is that? There are many clean and/or fast civics and integras out there, but the amount of ricer civics/integras outweigh the nice ones like 20:1.

Also as stated your heat logic is mind boggling. If you think a black hardtop is going to increase heat by a considerable amount then I think you're very confused. If you're worried about cabin heat that much you should probably tint your windows, and/or have one of those windshield reflectors.

On top of that, I for the life of me don't understand why people ask for opinions on things like color. Is making your own decision on how your car should look that difficult?

Unless your top has been slashed like 3 times, I don't understand the NEED. I understand why people like them, but you are driving a convertible. I'd imagine even HT owners don't keep them on 24/7 ....

 

#1. I'm 6'5".....I really..really need the extra headroom!

#2. I don't like the heat I can feel from the rag top even though
it's nowhere near the hottest days of summer.....would think a liner
would help...maybe not!

#3. Have seen pics of the hardtop and very much would like the
added range of vision(smaller blind spots).

#4. Have NO desire to drive with the top down...it's a personal
choice and would really not have to explain my preference!

just get a Protege and trick out with coils...light wheels..and
for the ultimate "sleeper" install a TSI turbo(6lbs. of boost) to
get the 2300 lb. vehicle to 195HP!

 

Sorry man, but you are coming across as a little scattered. I guess a lot of us are having trouble seeing why you'd need advice on which color would look best on your car. You can't seriously think that a mis-matched hardtop is going to look good can you?

And then to top it off, you list a gaggle of cars you'd be willing to sell your S for. Did you test drive the S before you bought it? You shouldve known within a few minutes whether or not the car would be comfortable for you. You're not going to fare much better getting a Mini or a Protege if you're 6'5.
