That certainly looks fixable. You better plan on a few grand, depending if you might be able to source some used parts.

Every damage is repairable. That one looks like it is both possible and worth it. They're not making them any more.

Seems possible to repair. How's the frame?

Finding some used parts would be everything cheaper.. bumper, headlights, hood. Take the opportunity to make some upgrades. New radiator, hoses etc..

At the end will be better then it was.

This is the key question. The S2000 has a couple of subframe assemblies. If those are bent, it's a lot worse. Otherwise, dents can be straightened.

Part of whether it would be totaled by insurance depends on the state you live in. For example, in MO where I live, it is 80% of the cars value. Some states are much less, like 50% in some I believe. Very hard to say though here without knowing what others have asked about the underlying damage. I can say that for me, a crash on track took out both knuckles, 4 control arms, tie/toe rods on the right side of the car. Fender and quarter panel, bumper covers and headlight and both wheels on that side. That ran somewhere around $13k to repair. I did all the mechanical work but we got it all under the HPDE policy and the shop "paid" me to do the mechanical work to make it all work, so it would have been $13k to the insurance either way. But, I had my agreed upon value set at $24k so we were good on not having it totaled.

But costs to repair, what is considered totaled, etc will all vary a ton. Only way to know is to get it estimated and go from there.

But ... if totaled, keep in mind our motors go for $4k - $5k easy. Trans, depending on mileage, can go for $1500+ now. So the buy out and part out option sometimes is not a bad idea when you factor that and all the other usable parts in.

Some frame damage, how much approximately for repairing, should i get insurance involved?

If damage is 50% of the catrs value it would be salvaged. Its my first car, means a lot so i really dont prefer the car being totaled
