Default Accidentally bounced off rev limiter in second gear... HOw bad is this???

Ok, so got a little distracted, and when taking my car up in second gear, I hit the rev limiter, and the car jerked a little, then I quickly shifted to thrid.. How bad is this, do you think I damaged anything??

It was not a misshift, if that is what some of you are thinking.. Rather, i just stayed in the gear a little too long..

Any insight will be greatly appreciated..

Thanks.

Just dont downshift into the redline and all should be fine.

You shouldnt do any damage at all by hitting the limiter. Its totally fine.

I would be a millionaire if I got a nickel every time this happenned. LOL. No harm, the limiter is there for the purpose of protecting the engine. :-)

I bang off my rev limiter all the time. It's not a big deal.

Your engine is now destroyed. You should call your nearest Honda dealer ASAP and get them to order you a new F20C to be replaced at your expense.
