Default Acura / Honda Question on trunk release

Hey guys,

Figured that these are the same from S2000's to Acuras...

Just back from a trip to Boston picked up a case of my favorite local IPA beer at $10 a six pack put it in the truck with the rest of my crap got hime and found my trunk won't open.

The button on the key fob works and you can hear it function but it doesn't release, same with the trunk release button inside the car - it functions bu tthe trunk won't "pop".

HELP my beer is in there!

If I'm working on my car and the battery is disconnected and I need to get into the trunk I use the Key. Have you tried using the key to open the trunk?

no key for the trunk only the button the key, makes for a clean look but sucks if you have to get in the trunk in this situation.

I found the emergency release...
