Acura S2000...
Paul,
Enjoyed the Ride the Rockies weekend event with the NSX'ers and was good to meet everyone. I did swap out with an NSX for about 70 miles and my opinion is that the handling on the NSX was really quite impressive. They had a clear advantage on the start from a dead stop, but once the S2K got into the zone it was fairly even.
Look forward to the next drive

Drove a second hand 98 model NSX to inspect my new S2K arriving from the manufacturing plant. Anyway, here's what I feel about it. Driving an NSX is like driving a ground stealth fighter or something, the car is complete with the usual super blind spots ... You can only trust people to give way to you since you can barely see anything.
Does impress general crowds though, normal acceleration is adequent for a line-6 I believe while it's not a super pull but it performs much better than us with higher low-end torque. But like all DOHC VTECs, life does not start until you engage it. That's when it feels really like a stealth fighter planting the car dead stuck on straight or slightly curved roads. Through twisties, hmm I'm afraid the S2K does better if driven hard enough simply because the NSX with the MR setup is ideally used for race tracks and not tight winding roads like an S2K.

My mistake there, thanks for the clarification Austin_S2000 ... Obviously my knowledge of an NSX is barely minimum to cover the basics, not have the previlege of owning it to go into deep research as yet.
I love the NSX's. After10 or 11 years now, the styling is still timeless. It looks fast, and has a low, raked profile, required for a car of this stature. Sure, a z06 will run circles around it. But style wise, I don't think the overall shape and stance of those cars can compare to an NSX.
