Thumbs up Adding water to OEM Panasonic Battery...

Has anyone ever looked at the meter on the OEM Panasonic battery and filled it with distilled water?
The meter has 3 levels:

Blue: Ok
Red: Distilled Water
White: Replace

Aren't these maintenance free? I look at it but never needed to add water until it died.

These are supposed to be sealed batteries. I'm not even sure how you would add water. And by the time you would need to, it probably indicates that the battery has developed a non-recoverable issue.

The indicator on the battery comes off like a screw, and just pour the water in.

If you catch the low acid level early, you can properly add water into it and extend the life as the plates arent bare and wont cause a short.

If you ran the life of the battery, or are close to its death then adding water wont do anything to help it.
