Advice of getting best springs
define "best." there is a variety of products out there and each performs differently based on what the owner wants out of their spring. do you want adjustability? firmer? softer? lower the car? raise the car? do nothing to the height of the car? price range? adding shocks? there are just too many factors to consider to issue the label "best."
a better question would be what does everyone have and what are the pros/cons of each. i'll start.
i have Eibach Pro-Kit springs. they lowered my car almost exactly 1". I went from a 4 finger vertical wheel well gap (on stock wheels and tires) to a 1 finger with a little room. The spring is slightly stiffer then the stock springs and seem to give just the slightest edge in cornering ability, due to the lowered center of gravity in most part i think. i paid $250 shipped for them. i kept my stock shocks due to the fact that the lowering was slight and the car has less than 5000 miles on it. when the shocks wear out, i will replace wtih Koni's. I think it will be a very solid streetable setup. I think the stance of the car with the OEM front lip and side strakes, combined with the lowered suspension provides the best looking stance i have ever seen on the S2000. all in all, i couldn't be happier. but, the Eibach was exactly what i was looking for: firm ride, moderate lowering, affordable.
