Default AEM / Injen CAI and Neuspeed STB - will it work?

Posted this over in "under the hood" but the response was, uh, non-existant. I've got the neuspeed STB and am thinking of going AEM for intake. Will this work? If not, does anyone know how much it would miss by (i.e. - how big of a "spacer" would be needed?)

Thanks!

I once had the Neuspeed STB w/ my Injen CAI. It does not fit at all. The STB actually ate through the metal of the CAI. I also tried putting spacers between the shock tower and the STB but it still wouldn't clear. The only STB that seems to work is the expensive Comptech one. Latez!

So, if it doesn't work then that begs the question - which one to stick with the CAI or the STB?!? I don't know how much difference the STB is making but I do know my x-brace rocks!!

If you have to make a choice between CAI or STB, pick the CAI! I really don't think the STB does much, mostly for looks.

I have and Injen CAI with a Whiteside (Australian MUZ) STB and it works, though the clearance is minimal. I added one spacer to each of the shock tower bolts. Nice piece and reasonable cost.
