anyone know the diameter of the aem intake? i'm looking to by the aem intake bypass value. anyone know if they effect performance or sound? thanks.

 

Unless you drive or park in flooded areas alot, I wouldn't get one. I have the by-pass valve initially, but it hurts your wide-open throttle acceleration response. Also, the AEM pipes don't fit just right with the by-pass valve installed. Since the by-pass valve installs in between the two pipes, it leave a gap between pipes resulting the lower pipe to mount lower than suppose to.
But if you still want one, I can sell it to ya!
The diameter is 3" and the by-pass valve part number I have is: 20-403S
Retail price brand new is $50. Let me know if you're interested.
