Default AEM Intake in two pieces?

I just got my new AEM Intake... very nice, can't wait to install it. But I thought it comes as one entire whole piece, mine came in two pieces? Was it redesigned recently? I'll post some pictures later if anyone wants to see it before its installed tomorrow.

I installed mine two weeks ago. Two pieces. Don't know about a redesign but that does appear to be the way they come now. BTW, I love it

It's definitely 2 pieces... i think if it were 1 piece it would be damn near impossible to install with all the bends.

Hey Guys, I bought the Blue AEM cold air intake. Makes a throatier sound, not sure if I notice the HP gain though. Anyway, I'm getting ultimate racing's turbo kit next month so I don't need my CAI anymore. I've used it for about 6 months maybe. If anyone wants to get one used I'll def sell it cheap.

For everyone else, I also bought the air bypass valve and I never installed it. Thats brand new. Still in the damn box in my room.
Anyone wants these things PM me.

Stephen

Hey man, it took me 20 minutes to find the fuel filler door the first time I needed gas! Now that was a dumbass move!

The older version of the Injen CAI came as one piece, the newer version comes at two piece.
