i have the espelirs with stock shocks and im very happy with them. the ride is pretty much the same as stock. i couldn't tell the difference. it lowers about 1.3 inches. i think there's another group buy going on right now as well. good luck

in the UK furum I found this

biltein P.. seems not to be very good for the S2000,

Suspensions upgrades - springs or full coil over shock replacement?

and the stock shock & lowering spirngs are not very good because the car is a bit unstable on bumpy roads can someone post more about this?

Before I bought my PSS, I search thru the forum and I found 2-3 theard saying bilstein rear is underdamped.

But then this is what I observed from my car.
When car was lowered at LOWEST setting, rear defintely felt under damped but then when I bring up about 0.5 inch up, ride was smooth and damping was perfect.
I DO get better time in Autox with my PSS.

Of course it wont match coil-over that are 1.5k-3k but it certainly have veyr good value at $800

Also I drove S2k with stock shocks with KG/MM springs...

Now THAT'S UNDERDAMPED!
It was so bad that whole car rattles everywhere every time I go over bump.
I guess stock shock wear out too fast with aftermarket springs

Good call on the springs. If I were you, I would try to find a set of Koni Shocks and do them while you do the springs. The shocks make more difference/improvement in ride and handling than the springs.
thanks i noticed those struts are what most people used with there springs. for now i am not able to get shocks on my car for i have no money and my parents are getting a little annoyed that i have been spending so much money on my car. i am 20 years old still living with them so i have to respect that. just got to give them some more time and by next summer i will have a wilwood big brake kit, oem spoiler, spoon x brace, upgraded diff (don't think it is going to last this summer, just a weird felling) , and some race seats

Correct! The stock shocks are garbage, IMO. Especially the rears. Mine rides much better than stock with the Koni-KG/MM Super Sports.

I have been pondering the same decision because I would hate to sacrifice the perfect feel of the stock S but prefer the look of less gap. I did a seach and found that Spoon Sports offer a coilover setup for the S (not the fully adjustable) for $900.+/-
Does any one know anything about these?
Thanks.
