Default After all the waiting...

I finally got my S2000. I now know what it feels like to have a never ending grin on my face. This car is so much fun it should be illegal.

The car is a Berlina Black MY04 with 27K miles. The car is absolutely immaculate inside and out. I really wanted an AP1 for the longest time, but now that I have driven an AP2, I couldn't picture driving anything else. The car just goes through the gears so effortlessly. It almost feels as if it begging to be pushed. I am very excited about learning how to drive this car to its full potential. The only gripe I have is the gearing. It feels like I'm always having to shift to the next gear. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I was surprised at how comfortable it is inside the car. I thought being 6'0" 200lbs, would mean being uncomfortable, but it's not the case. Everything about this car is great. The steering is very responsive and the handling is amazing. There is a little road noise, but what can you expect from a Sports car.

All in all, I'm trying to keep myself very humble as to not get cocky or be another statistic. I hope to have many great experiences with the car. I apologize for not having any pictures. I will try to get some posted up soon.

welcome to the owners club.

You're lucky to live in such a climate where you get to drive it year round. Mine is in storage, it'll be another 3 months before it'll ever come back out.

very few cars can compare in regards to driver feel.
anyways....ENJOY!!!

Wise move. You will love this car just take it easy. You might want to consider a driving class or a track day to see what it can do instead of finding out the limits of the car on the road. That has a tendency to get expensive.

I haven't driven mine for about a month( Work, weather ect.) and I can't wait. It is hard to look at it the garage everyday.

Congratulations! Have fun!

Congrats on being a new owner. When I got my 01 stolen, I knew I would have to get one again. A few years later, I got my 07 and my grin is still on my face.

Welcome to the forum and have fun with the AP1 vs. AP2 comments that will occasionally spring up.

Thank you for the kind words guys. I woke up this morning and immediately looked out the window to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

I unexpectedly, got 2 comments on my car last night.

One of which, was a random guy rolling his window down and telling me nice car. The other, was when I pulled into a restaurant for dinner and a guy with a Mitsubishi GSX said "Hey man. Nice 2000 you got there." So he and I conversed for a bit.

I absolutely love this feeling.

On a side note:
It is raining today and I am getting nervous about driving it, with such stories about snap Over Steer and spinning out on the freeway. I guess I'll just have to take it really easy.
