Hey guys, i converted my 02 s2000 front into the 04 a few months ago. I swapped out the 02 splash guards, engine cover box, and front bumper in favor of all the 04 pieces, minus the front headlights.

Anyway, i am considering just buying an after market bumper instead of shelling out the 600$ for the mugen splitter.

My question is, will the top secret, or gp sports front bumpers mount to the 04 splash guards and engine box cover, or do i have to swap them back to the 02 to make it work?

 

I'm going to say no because I dont want you to get the GP sports bumper because I want it. Stick with the 04 front.

 

Well the thing is, Mugen lip is nice, but it is over 600$, and for a few hundred more i can just buy a whole new front, and it will hold up better. I can bet ill split the mugen in half.

BTW Jackson, Endlesspain on the MidA boards is selling a GP front if your interested. I already PM'd him, but i cant buy it cause i owe Evolution the balance for the rims.

 

looks like the new INGS kit was designed on an 04....

The others you mentioned were designed for 00-03 cars so you will need to convert all the parts back again.

 

I assume the J's Racing bumper will fit to the 04 too.

 

new j's is nice, i would definately buy one...Im also starting to think amuse 04 front now a little.
