Default Aftermarket parts avilable for S2K

Well I just found this forum recently, I was an avid reader of the S2K forum over on Honda-Tech but this is a far superior site for S2K's. Well I am kind of new to the idea of the S, I have been a long time German lover but after reading some reviews on the S and since moving down to Florida I decided I need a drop top. So the S is the most economical solution for me.

So I have been looking around for what kind of aftermarket part there are for the S and I haven't found very many sites, I am coming from the Audi world where there are masses of tuners and aftermarket parts. So I just wanted to see where most of you go for parts?

Also I was searching the forum for how the insurance companies rate the S for premiums and I read somewhere it is in the high risk category so I just wanted to see if that was true for most of you. I really don't want to get a car with really high premiums but I'm not totally sold on the S yet anyway I have to get out on a test drive.

Well, if you cant do the high premiums on the S, then you might not want to take one for a spin. Once you do, you'll most likely be sold It also depends on your insurance and your record, age, sex and mariatal status. You should call and get a quote from your insurance just to see what kind of ballpark you'd be in.

AS for the S2K aftermarket goodies (and even OEM parts) chec out our sponsors. They have just about everything available for the S2K you can get. Hope that helps

Well it's not that I can't handle the premiums I just would rather not spend a lot on insurance since I would really like to save some money to get an E36 M3 track car. Right now I don't spend a lot on insurance but I spend too much on service for my A4, the stealership rapes people here. So I was thinking that buying a Honda would be great because I could get an 01-02 for $23 or so with really low mileage and the service would be less than my Audi.

Well I was just looking around the site for the sponsors but I can't find a place where they are all listed, is there a link you could send me?

Thanks thats great, exsacly what I was looking for, and what is the lug pattern for S2k's? is it the same as civics? Also are they capable of running larger rear wheels, say 18x9 or 18x10?
