OK, I'm gonna make a fool of myself by asking these questions, but the answers will be worth it. Is it just me, or do you fellas let your car idle for a bit after running it hard? I never shut it off immidately, maybe it's because I used to have a turbo car. Is there any sense in this? Also, is it ok to just start the car and drive away in the winter when the car is very cold? I've always let my cars warm up a while, but recently talked to a racer that said it is not needed, and it causes crankcase pressure? I would think it would be ok to drive as long as I don't go high in the revs...what do you fellas think? One more and I will stop...hehe. Why does Honda continually build cars with high torque peaks and use weak clutches? You truly have to "drive it like you stole it" to make it do anything...so why do the dealers get pissed when the clutch fries, or we are hard on the car? The way I see it, Honda is asking us to be hard on it, otherwise they would learn how to make engines with a low torque peak...what do you fellas think?

I dont let it idle, but instead, drive it at a moderate pace before shutting it down. I never let the car sit and idle more than a minute in the winter, but i do drive slowly while it is warming up (under 3000 rpm). Dont have any idea about the cluth problems with Honda as this is my first one.
