I'm also 20 ... I started a small music business a couple years ago, then I sold it.. I used some of the money to put down as a down payment, $11,000, to be exact.. I now work for a Medium sized record label as the Promotions Manager and I also handle the licensing agreements for our publishing company... So if any of you have written songs that a group has recorded, I can get you some royalty money..!! : )
All and all, i'm doing pretty well. I pay about $480 a month plus $93 for insurance...

God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please dont take this the wrong way. I am not trying to hit on you or anything but - is your Daddy rich?

I am a 51 year old father of a 22 year old girl and a 19 year old boy and I make a good income - perhaps in the top 1 or 2 percent of incomes in this country and (apart from the sense in giving such a powerful toy to an inexperienced driver) I can't see how I could afford to give my children an S2000.

This car costs the equivalent of 1.6 times the average household income here, and 4 times my son's wage in his first fulltime job. I bought my daughter a car for her 21st birthday. It was a one-year old Ford Festiva and it cost 11% of the price of an S2000. One year later it still seems to be just the right sort of car for her.

Well I wouldn't say my dad's rich or anything of the sort. He's a physician in Las Vegas right now and considers himself and the family in the upper middle class. He's been a car fanatic all of his life and knows which is the best of the best... I was actually quite surprised when he got me the car because i was never informed until the day we picked it up at the dealership... To be honest, I was thinking that I was going to get a 02 Formula Red civic LX and later twin turboing it, which I would have been happy with that as well. But looking back at it now... the S2k puts the civic in the dark.

The 2WFM-AS is a wicked unit, its what I've had in my past two cars... but I don't pay $300 for them
I generally make about $30 on the sale of the actual unit.. the other $170 or so is the install price. Unit + Install my customers are looking at $475.. my installs are 110% I connect every wire I can, mount the LED where it is requested, and solder ALL connections.. no cheapo t-taps or simple wrap and tape jobs.. I warranty my work 110% as well.. if theres a problem I will go to that customer's house (within an hour or two of traveling) and fix it in their driveway.. a foot of snow if I must.. Not that my installs have problems or anything.. but you get the idea.. yes my prices are high I guess... infact my last customer bought his last compustar in toronto i think.. shitty installation though.. I believe I'm the only dealer/installer in Western NY if not NY state..
