Anyone on his board have any knowledge with this product? I have a friend who has a 05 S2K and secondary air pump has been deleted. Would installing this simulator can by past Ca smog?? Thank you!

I have a friend who has a 05 S2K.
(Love these.)20 years of posts (detected by searching) indicate the device should pass smog other than visual inspection 'cuz the pump ain't there. Maybe someone knows of a complacent inspection site? Oh, yeah, the maker specifies the device is not legal for road use but lots of things are not and we use them.
